The Problems That I Had With The Infinite Income Plan

The Infinite Income Plan was promising to become part of my marketing career and success story with the home business industry …and then, the economy flopped and I found myself talking to lots of people with little cash.

Many of you already know me but for those I may be meeting for the first time, my name is Dr. Ana Hernandez (http://netrageouz.net), Editor/publisher of the successful NETfabulous! marketing ECourse from sunny South Florida. This post was originally posted to share details regarding the IIP program, a program which promised to make lots of families quite financially comfortable, but did it??

I was working with Darren Salkeld and his “Infinite Income Plan”. The plan promised a very simple system that would enable the newest of online marketers to jump into a turn key biz opp with the potential to start generating monthly five figure incomes in a very short period of time. The Infinite Income Plan was designed to work this way and to bring profits in easily, but such was not the case and the cost became a bit prohibitive for the amount of prospects that were falling through and non converting.

I did have a chance to work with Darren for a few months and found a determination and drive that impressed me. Perhaps the system would have been more lucrative in a rising market economy. However, at this time I would recommend that you pursue a different approach to selling your higher ticket back items. I would recommend that you find (or create) a system that requires far less up front monthly fees. This would, of course, free up more of your money for fueling your marketing campaigns- Lots more, in fact!

You see, Daren’s IIP requires that you purchase a front end product which serves to explain in overall details the steps required to set up a successful marketing campaign for any product that you may want to promote online. But, in fact, the IIP is really a low ticket front end product that invites and encourages you to consider joining him in using his proven system to drive interested prospects through and to promote the higher back end offer which is really where you make your money and begin seeing significant results.

Meanwhile, once you have decided to adopt his marketing system, you are going to be required to host the sales page on THEIR hosting servers ($25/month website), and you are required to join their ZOOMICA Training Site ($197/mo) which I did not find very useful I am sorry to say.

However, in all fairness, the ZOOMICA costs also cover the cost of employees that will be handling the delivery and behind the scenes project of getting your IIP packets into the hands of interested prospects that have purchased a hard copy of the IIP product from you.

It also covers the use of a generic 1-800 phone number. This number gets placed on the postcards that you can purchase as an option to promote your IIP program. The postcard campaign (which I think is extremely pricey at $500 per thousand, PLUS the cost for the mailing list of names, PLUS the cost of postage) will have this 1-800 number on the card and will provide a generic message that would further encourage your prospects to visit your web address for more information. This address would direct the prospect to YOUR website address that you will host with them at $25/mo using Webhot monkey, their hosting services.

Webhot monkey will host your site and give you room for 12 more domains. You will also get a wordpress blog to use so that you can write articles and get on the search engines that may eventually bring you more readers that might buy the IIP program from you at that moment. Lots of maybes and migths in that sentence… Meanwhile, your taxi fare is rising…

It’s a good system, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that it is very pricey, and all of the money that you are pumping into promoting ‘the guru’ is self serving to his story and giving him the notoriety that YOU should be getting for the kind of money that you are pumping out each month. However, I will say that for someone totally new to the scene putting up these systems can be quite a daunting task.

That is why I believe there is a better way to start promoting and making money online.

For instance, you will probably need a blog and a capture page as you need to get people reading and becoming more familiar with your style. You need to develop trust. Period.

From there, you can make any recommendations and product reviews if you want to you work with affiliate programs and market in this way.

There are many good, and not so pricey programs out there that are certain to get you started learning the easy way how to research your product ideas, how to enter a niche and how to find success online without all of the upfront costs associated with the upkeep of other people’s expensive systems.
