What You Perceive Creates Your Reality

The root of all evil is not money, the root of all evil is lack of self-esteem.

Self esteem is a product of your existence in time and space, it is a creation that nurtures and reinforces the ego. It denies the truth of who you really are, God’s perfect creation.

When you truly have this understanding, you can stand in the face of public opinion about you and be unfaltering as you stand in your own truth, and not the poll of public opinions about you. The polls are nothing more than an illusion for the ego to feed upon. In light of your discomfort, these polls and opinions serve to remind you that theirs are areas awaiting to be cleansed within your consciousness.

Change the projection by changing the projector, meaning once you have dealt with your own perception of reality, the world around you will change.

“What you perceive, creates your reality”

Be aware of your body, which is the barometer of knowing. It is the insight into making your world a better place for your being and your healing. Health naturally exists within you, not outside of you. Certainly in sickness you may reach out for professional assistance, but in addition take to the practice of medicating for 30 minutes each day upon the mantra of truth, stating “I AM Health”

You are the health of God in expression. Detoxify your life and release accumulated resentments.

TRIGGERS- Take a closer look at yourself if something seems to “trigger” feelings of unease (dis-ease).

GIVE UP BEING RIGHT- There is no need to be defensive, this has been the cause of all WARS.

STOP THE INTERNAL DIALOGUES- Stop thinking and end your problem of the addiction of thinking. This is of the EGO. Empty your mind of the incessant inner chatter and dialogue that enslaves you to your limiting thoughts.

You will come to know that you have been living in a fictitious world, and then you will naturally let it go. Meditate on the truth that you are “God’s perfect child, that dwells in the kingdom of God.”

This is the time for radical faith, and for becoming fearless in the face of fear. It is not the time for playing it small.

Shift your territory…
Open and expand your heart, and your field.

Every time you make someone wrong, you are closing your heart. Let go of the need to always be right. If you want to learn the art of patience, practice the life of non-resistance.

Be a lover of what is. Accept what is…
Then breathe, and begin to listen with compassion.

Vision without action is a dream, action without vision is a nightmare.

Hormones and Nutrition On Your To Do List For 2010

Women are the most to feel and complain about the cycle of ‘change’ within their body, so let’s clarify the stages of female menopause

Menopause, pre-menopause, peri-menopause as well as post-menopause are the terms describing a woman’s transition from having regular periods to none at all. Pre-menopause refers to the years before any menstrual irregularities occur. Peri-menopause marks the interval in which your body begins its transition into menopause. Menopause is the permanent end of menstruation and fertility and refers to the time when periods have recently stopped for good. Post-menopause refers to the years after this transition and through the rest of a woman’s life.

But women are not the only ones to go through hormonal changes. Many times our male counterparts are also having signs and symptoms of dropping hormonal levels. That is known as Male Menopause, or Andropause. Some men will shrug it off as insignificant, either because they really don’t feel badly enough to come to the doctor, or just because they are stuck in the ‘don’t ask for directions’ mode throughout all of the important seasons of their lives. Oh well, guys will be guys. If they feel badly enough, they will find their way to words.

There is ONE little glandular system (the adrenal glands) that can make all of the difference in the world as to whether a woman (and a man, but mostly a woman) will feel the menopausal wrath from H*LL or slide through just as our Eastern Neighborly women do; in fact, Japan simply has NO words for the term HOT FLASHES nor any other subjective references relating to the discomforts our Western women complain about with intensity. Why is that? Do they stress less? Do they eat better? Is there less toxicity in their diets and environment?

YES, YES and YES…

In the US we are incredibly STRESSED. We eat horrifically and live with way too many chemicals that hurt our bodies (both men and women suffer from this problem). The collapse of large companies, such as Enron bring out many tales, but none motivate action more than images of workers now left with little or nothing in the way of retirement plan benefits. In response, President Bush requested legislation in 2002 to help employees in the future against such catastrophic losses.

Nevertheless, the safety net once in place for long term employees in exchange for years of company loyalty has now been torn to shreds. We are witnessing the abuse brought about through alliances between large corporations and government as more and more of our American jobs export oversees.

A river of greed flows from positions of power, drowning the confidence and sense of security of the common worker. The belief that years of work and company loyalty secures financial stability at the end of a working life is more wishful thinking, than realistic expectations for most of us.

This is why I believe that each of us MUST rely on our independent efforts to secure a comfortable retirement. We must prepare a mindset which can conceive the ability of securing new sources of income, including residual and passive income streams that will support us through the later years as an act of self preservation. This could include securing second incomes through starting a home based business, or even through joining an internet money making opportunity.

The mindset must be restructured so that while you’re still expecting a good outcome, you’re also preparing for the worst (just in case)…

Self employment implies that someone works for themselves. These types of individuals are referred to as either entrepreneurs or business owners.

The Independent Consultant – The independent consultant also usually works as an independent contractor on a per-project basis and may consult his clients on various business matters. Essentially the same as a freelancer, the independent consultant often manages his freelance jobs in a manner more likely to resemble running an official business. In fact, some independent consultants form companies structured as sole proprietorship or partnerships as opposed to simple freelancing without a business entity.

The Investor – Some individuals resist working for others as they enjoy the self employed life and choose to earn their incomes strictly through investing in other businesses, projects, or opportunities such as the stock market and forex markets.

The Partnership – It is really not necessary for a business owner to actually own their own solo-business to be considered self employed. In fact, many self employed people own businesses with one or more partners and share the risks and responsibilities under this type of protective entity.

The Owner / President / CEO / Stockholder – This group of people are a composition of a combination of several of the other types of self employment. The difference being that they tend to gravitate towards larger corporations, or organizational models. It may consist of one owner in a large private company, or several owners at various executive levels, or simply a group of stockholders owning a company.

The Difference Between Democrats and Republicans

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost.

She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, ‘Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.’

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, ‘You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.’

She rolled her eyes and said, ‘You must be a Republican.’

‘I am,’ replied the man. ‘How did you know?’

‘Well,’ answered the balloonist, ‘everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.’

The man smiled and responded, ‘You must be a Democrat.’

‘I am,’ replied the balloonist. ‘How did you know?’

‘Well,’ said the man, ‘you don’t know where you are or where you are going. You’ve risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now it’s my fault!”

Economic Meltdown and Other Illusory States of Being

Every autumn, our church Unity on the Bay of South Florida begins an adventure in faith by choosing one book to discuss & to serve as the central theme of Sunday services.

This year we chose Deepak Chopra’s “Peace is the Way” as catalyst to encourage further spiritual development. Rev. Chris Jackson began ministering today with mention of how deeply rooted in lack, limitation & fearful concerns this week’s news has become. Further that this fear reflects a global collective consciousness that is becoming deeply focused on the experiences of lack in this world of materiality.

What has become a daily reality for many is but the creation of a planetary collective consciousness now focused on lack & limitation. If we allow our attentions to dwell solely on external matters in this world of time, space & form then living becomes illusory- like perceiving reflections off the surface of a well believing the distortions we perceive are how the world truly is.

The truth as seen from a much deeper level of existence is that the external world and the circumstances of time and space exist only to encourage us to decide to believe that which we are going to believe and then to challenge us to decide to live in the integrity of that which we’ve come to believe. Stop to question your beliefs as you answer these questions for yourself:

“Am I thinking for myself?”

“Does my belief system come from lessons I’ve been taught by others to believe in?”

“Are these my original thoughts that I hold as reality- that make up the essence of my life and all that I perceive within it?”

credo |ˈkrēdō; ˈkrādō| noun ( pl. -dos) a statement of the beliefs or aims that guide someone’s actions : he announced his credo in his first editorial.

You can begin by establishing a credo in life. Then set out to guide your actions by it. Once you’ve been blessed to discover through meditation that which is truly your belief, life will take on the intensity that pushes you deeper into your heart space. It is from there that you must decide what is right. And from that moment of awareness onward, your life will insistently call you forth to challenge your courage to stand behind that which you believe in. No one promised you that living would be easy.

To live with integrity means that you will forever stand within the truth of that which is in your heart, standing witness to that which you’ve already determined to be the truth for you. When you are then challenged by a mass, global belief system of the collective consciousness which floods your senses with bad news, with news of lack and limitations that arise from a material plane this will be your call to action. This collective dark fear will challenge you to stand behind your convictions in the knowledge that you know that you are living within the realm of intimate abundance & spiritual prosperity.

These are times to bring forth the truths of your being through external action. A time to stand clearly in front of the play of time and space. This is the time to test yourself so that you may decide what world you will put your full confidence in. If you stand firm in your integrity and have done the inner work of strengthening your spirit by realizing the value and true purpose of your life then you will be free to think quite unlike the fear driven masses.

Draw on your confidence that just as in your inner world so will be your external experiences of living. Move through doubts, fears, illusions of lack & limitation and drive the dark emotions straight through the light of your truth.

This is the only way for you to live your life in full integrity. This is the only way for you to perceive life and to give it the meaning that comes out of your core beliefs. This is the only way for you to break out of this global collective consciousness that drives most weak men mad with fears and uncertainties in this world of duality- the world filled with the illusions of both space and time.

The delusional group hysteria is upon us. Like tides of global belief they will rise and fall now as they has always done collectively throughout time- angry waves that rapture from a stormy seas.

How then shall you respond as a spiritual being to the current state of this world? How should you be expected to refocus your perceptions as appearances reveal that for so many people the expenses exceed their income as an expression of the fear & lack that has overtaken us in this dualistic world?

It is during times like these as the world of illusion challenges our spiritual core of beliefs that we must tell ourselves we are ‘open and receptive’ to unexpected sources of income. Precisely during these moments in life must we turn to the power of prayer (meditation or contemplation, if you will) and tune in to the abundance of unlimited channels through which we will find infinite sources of income. Your job and your paycheck are not the only vehicles to abundance. Open up your heart and mind to the abundance that surrounds you. There are avenues of energy moving all about you. Through internal strength and your convictions you can tap into that portion which belongs to you as the child of divine light that you truly are.

• a statement or slogan repeated frequently:
she would voice her mantra each morning in preparation for the brand new day.

Develop your ‘mantra’. This is the way to access the power of prayer. Live in the idea, through constant repetition and belief that you are made of infinite abundance and that you dwell in infinite abundance. Know that this abundance along with your ability to dwell in internal peace among the outer turbulence of the storms of an illusory world are your birthrights as a child of God.

To borrow from A Course in Miracles, repeat the ‘mantra’ which states “I can see the peace instead of this if I so choose to.” The lesson here is that you can set up the conditions that prevail when you refocus on another way of perceiving your reality. Peace of mind is a choice. There is no way to peace as peace IS the way. Peace is the only way. And as you dwell within this peace of mind you can extend these thoughts of peace forth as tentacles onto the world. Here is my prayer:

“Let these thoughts that spring from my mind create a peaceful world born out of my immediate space. Let the peace that spreads from within me touch upon every person that I speak to today, that I smile on today and that touch my life in some way today. Let spring forth from me the peace and charity that disseminates from one life to another. Let each person that I grace within my peaceful space move forth to touch the outer bands of lives beyond which I will never know. And in this manner may my small circle of love, a creation from the center of my heart move forth as a pebble ripples wider currents upon the surface of still waters. Let the peace created from within me spread widening currents of peace that feed into the loving ocean called my life.”

Practice the concept of the nonviolent individual capable of receiving violence and like the alchemist, creates and delivers peace in exchange. Tell yourself, “I could choose peace instead of this.” In this manner begin the journey along with others that have chosen to take the collective journey towards becoming more nonviolent individuals in a world of anger driven by the erroneous fears of lack & limitation.

Been doing a little late night reading lately. Don’t you love stealing a moment to indulge in a thought provoking read?

No matter how much life seems to throws at me, how it provokes me to focus on mundane & worldly matters, it takes me but an instant to pause and introspect …And, in that gentle moment, a disconnect brings me to a place where my thoughts are clear as I connect with my higher state of being.

As much as I enjoyed watching ‘The Secret’, recalling all the things that I’d forgotten in mundane living like the Law of Attraction, I also remembered that The Law of Attraction is NOT the Only Law at play in my own life. The latest collection in my recipe for higher living comes from Eckhart Tolle’s latest “A New Earth, Awakening To Your Life’s Purpose”.

Eckhart expands on the original theme from his book, “The Power of Now” to deliver us what he believes is at the root of human suffering.

Tolle states that living in a state of un awareness of the truth of what we truly are is the reason for all human misery seen on Earth. He points to the ego as ’cause and character‘ playing the leading role that keeps us unaware of this truth.

I believe Tolle’s writing sets the stage for us to begin exploring and to discover the very presence of a ‘veil of illusion’ that has been created by our own ego to protect us from the harsh existence of living. Unfortunately, like an overprotective parent, (however well intentioned) the ego becomes an obstacle, keeping us from experiencing that significance of what it means to be truly human, and thus vulnerable.

Like a gatekeeper, the ego stands between us and the simple act of living; thus, ego distorts all that we perceive and creates false realities. This is how the ego keeps us from realizing the very nature of our own true existence.

The ego chooses to believe in a world of duality, creating the illusion of a sense of being separate living entities; thus, the ego forms in us a sense that we are separate and ‘apart’ from all the other entities around us.

But observe the very word (apart) and notice that it is composed of not one, but rather of two run-on words, which points to the misconception that not only are we not ‘apart’ from anything, but rather are “a part” of everything.
